OAC is recognized world wide for its research expertise ranging across four broad categories: Agriculture, Food, Rural Communities, and the Environment. The research community is located throughout the University's network of campuses and research stations, promoting interdisciplinary research and technology transfer.
With more than $100 million in research funding annually, Guelph ranks among the top three research institutions in Canada. Approximately 47 % of that funding is awarded to OAC.
