Environmental Science, Conservation Science, Soil Science and Water Management/Sciences

Focus is on the understanding of the role of soil, water and climate resources for biological production of food and fibre, and in the maintenance of environmental principles. Topics include mediation of greenhouse gases, nutrient cycling, waste assimilation, watershed management, soil stewardship, sustainable biological production and water quality. 

Programs may emphasize application to biometeorology, forestry, hydrology, conservation, soil productivity and land evaluation in addressing contemporary and emerging issues.
