The member Faculties support the future of Canadian innovation and provide a crucial resource for research, education, funding and program information in agriculture and veterinary medicine. Nationally, there were more than 2,400 graduate and doctoral students working with 1050 Faculty members with an operating budget of more than $24 million, including $19 in NSERC funds.

The Canadian Faculties of Agriculture & Veterinary Medicine offer graduate students the opportunity to study a host of dynamic disciplines. Most programs are research oriented degrees which require both course work and a thesis. The Faculties pride themselves for having a close link to both industry and government. Programs are supported with research centres and laboratories that enhance the student learning process.
